Key Biscayne Civic Center

 

A multi-phase civic hub featuring fire/police stations, council chambers, and a community center with advanced emergency power and surveillance systems. The project involved the development of:

Fire Station/Civic Center: A 25,238-square-foot facility housing the fire department, city council chambers, and the Village’s emergency management staff.

Police Department/Administrative Headquarters: A 39,946-square-foot 

Note: these are projects that the Principal and Key employees have completed while employed with another organization

building accommodating the police department, city administrators, and the building department.

Community Center: A 38,200-square-foot center featuring an 80-car underground parking garage, a large community swimming pool, and the Village’s recreational department.

As part of the infrastructure work, the project included the installation of a large 3000kW emergency generator, secured entrances for the fire/police departments, total site surveillance, and parking for the Village’s maintenance vehicles.
