Terminal 3 Modernization Project

The Terminal 3 Modernization Project encompassed two distinct work packages: the terminal side and Concourses E and F. This comprehensive renovation aimed to upgrade and enhance the terminal’s infrastructure, ensuring improved functionality and safety for passengers and staff.

Scope of Work

The project included the installation of new main electrical rooms and feeders connected to the Florida Power & Light (FPL) Vault, along with secondary electrical rooms on the concourse level. The work also involved upgrading lighting systems with modern fixtures and advanced control systems. Additionally, new cameras, fire alarm systems, and access control equipment were integrated to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Project Significance

This project represents a significant investment in modernizing one of South Florida’s key aviation hubs. The upgrades prioritize sustainability and improve the passenger experience, ensuring that the terminal remains a state-of-the-art facility for years to come.
